REDA Audits are an opportunity to have all pumps looked at that run through Pacific Power. The audit will be free of charge to the landowner. KSWCD is currently taking landowner contacts to put together an auditing schedule. The audit will measure the amount of power your pump uses versus the amount of water it is pumping through a specific formula. From the audit you can learn what efficiency your pump is running at, why it is running at that efficiency, and how you can improve it or what it can be replaced with.
For most programs involving water efficiency improvements through NRCS will require a pump audit prior to coordinating a project, so it is best to do it prior to applying for these programs and while the audit is fully paid for.
